YOUTH CAMPAIGNING FOR CHANGE IN PAKISTAN: SPOTLIGHT ON KAFKA WELFARE ORGANIZATION

Project Duration: Nov, Dec, Jan 2017, 2018
Target Audience: Youth, Girls
Main Objective: Our objective was to advocate for the role of young people as agents in family planning initiatives. Through our efforts of ensuring young people are taking up leadership roles on issues which affects their lives and community, we aimed at influencing policies and inspiring actions across various audiences, both from the government and private sector.
Introduction: A Family Planning campaign by International Youth Alliance for Family Planning (IYAFP) and Kafka Welfare Organization.
Outcome: 3500 youngsters were trained and facilitated

Finance for Development

Project Duration: Dec 2017
Target Audience: Youth, Girls
Main Objective: 
To train community members on tax and budget system so that they can rise vice for their rights in the democratic system.
Introduction: 
Outcome: 16 youngsters were engaged and trained

Umair Asif Implemented Sports for Development and Peace activities with Reconciled North Korean and South Korean Children in Suwon, South Korea with Korea sharing movement and Football 4 Peace South Korea

Reaching youth through sports

The concept of “Sports for Development and Peace” (SDP) has brought positive change to communities around the world. SDP uses team-based sports to teach social and moral values to young people. Since 2001 when the United Nations officially endorsed it, SDP programs have been initiated globally by different organizations, two famous ones being Right to Play and UNOSDP (United Nations Office on Sports for Development & Peace).
